Free Revisions and Refunds
Every song is made to order from the story you share with us, so it can't be returned like a physical product. Instead, we promise to make it right.
Free revisions. Within 5 days of delivery, you can ask for up to 2 free revisions. A revision can change the lyrics or the spelling or pronunciation of a name. Revisions don't change the voice or musical style - you choose those in your free preview before you buy. Each new version is sung fresh, so small differences in the singing are normal. If the voice or style isn't the one you picked, that's our mistake and we'll fix it for free. Each revision gives you one new version of your song. To ask for one, reply to your delivery email or write to info@madeinsong.com and tell us what you'd like changed. We deliver each revised version within 2 business days.
Full refund. You get a full refund if:
- you cancel before your song is delivered;
- we don't deliver your song within 2 business days of your order and you'd rather not wait (just reply to our email or write to us). Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays;
- a mistake of ours (for example a wrong name or a wrong detail compared with what you wrote in your answers) is still there after your revisions.
What isn't refundable. Once a song has been delivered, we can't offer a refund for a change of mind. Revisions improve the song you ordered, for the same person and occasion. A song for a different person or occasion is a new order. Details we leave out or soften under section 5 of our Terms of Service aren't mistakes, and revisions can't add them back.
How refunds are paid. We issue refunds within 2 business days of your request, to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5-10 business days to show it.
Orders we can't accept. If your answers ask for content we don't create (see our Terms of Service), we'll let you know and refund your order in full.
